Out-of-School Time Programs
Our Out-of-School Time programs partner with local West Michigan school districts serving youth Kindergarten through 12th Grade. The programs restore, reshape, and enrich the lives of young people through creative, community-based, and diverse educational experiences during non-school hours. Building life-shaping character, fostering healthy relationships, and nurturing socially responsible civic behavior is what our Out-of-School Time Programs strive for.
Project FOCUS (For Our Children’s Ultimate Success) provides individualized academic support to K-8th grade students while engaging participants in Enrichment Club activities and field trips supporting Cultural Awareness, College and Career Readiness, Health and Nutrition, Character Education, Youth Development, STEAM, Music and Performing Arts.
TrueNorth operates Project FOCUS at Baldwin, Hart, Holton, Muskegon Heights, Three Oaks, and Walkerville through the federally-funded 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program in partnership with the Michigan Department of Education.
