emPower Self-Sufficiency Program Manager
TrueNorth Community Services is seeking a compassionate, strategic, and organized leader to oversee self-sufficiency programming within the Michigan Energy Assistance Program (MEAP). This role will lead program operations, support staff development, improve processes, and help create innovative solutions for families in need.
Housing Resource Specialist
The HARA Housing Resource Specialist serves as the point of contact for eligibility determination, case plan development, case management, outcome reporting, and follow up for HARA services offered through TrueNorth Community Services. The Specialist works to identify needs and solutions for low-income households, track outcome data on each household served and use continuous quality improvement methodologies to manage services to outcomes.
Education Programs Director
Step into a dynamic leadership role where impact meets innovation. As the Education Programs Director, you’ll help create engaging, high-quality programs that empower youth beyond the classroom. From mentoring staff and shaping culturally responsive curriculum to ensuring compliance and using data to drive success, you’ll bring grant-funded initiatives to life. This role blends strategy with hands-on support – visiting program sites, coaching teams, and building strong partnerships, all while creating meaningful experiences for students. Content Strategist
Leads the planning, creation and distribution of mission-driven content that elevates the organization’s impact and engages key audiences. This role is responsible for building and managing a cohesive content and storytelling system that supports agency messaging, program visibility and community engagement.
Community Liaison & Development Director
Under the guidance and supervision of the President and CEO, the Community Liaison and Development Director is responsible for the successful implementation and execution of fundraising activities including donor acquisition, annual fund, events, major gifts ($5,000+), program specific fund raising, reserves, endowment funds, planned gifts, and capital campaigns. The Community Liaison and Development Director supervises all Development Department staff and leads other department staff, volunteers and Board of Directors in fundraising efforts.
Project FOCUS Program Assistant
The position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and leadership of Project FOCUS (For Our Children’s Ultimate Success) Out-of-School Time programs.

Camp Newaygo – Program Specialist
To further the mission of Camp Newaygo through the development, planning and delivery of program activities and events. Design and deliver program activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the participant’s age and abilities. Assist in the management of the overall camp operation at the direction of the Associate Director.
