Hunger Prevention Programs Donation

Hunger is a reality in Newaygo County. Nearly 1 in 8 of our neighbors struggle with food insecurity, including children, seniors and working families. Rising costs of groceries, housing and utilities have only deepened the struggle, leaving many to make painful choices between keeping food on the table or paying other essential bills.

But Good Happens Here—and you can be part of it. TrueNorth’s Hunger Prevention programs provide thousands of meals each month to local families in need. From Food Center visits and emergency food boxes to long-term support, these resources ensure no one has to face hunger alone.

Your support makes a measurable difference. Just $50 provides 100 meals. That means one kindhearted gift can relieve the stress of a parent skipping dinner so their children can eat, or ensure a senior living on a fixed income doesn’t have to choose between groceries and medication.

When you give, you create ripples of impact throughout our community. You’re nourishing bodies, lifting spirits and reminding our neighbors that they are not alone in their struggles. Together, we can fill tables with food, comfort and hope—because Good Happens Here when we come together.

Your compassion is the key to ending hunger in Newaygo County. Good Happens Here—thanks to you.
