Empty Bowls
Together, we can move our neighbors forward.
This year’s Empty Bowls fundraiser was truly remarkable, showcasing the power of compassion and community. With more than 300 attendees and a record-breaking $28,000 raised, the 2025 event marked the most successful Empty Bowls in its 20-plus-year history.
Attendees selected from hundreds of handcrafted bowls—each one a labor of love from local artists, students and volunteers—and enjoyed delicious soups and breads prepared by area restaurants and caterers. Every bowl taken home served as a reminder of the neighbors whose tables are too often empty and of the hope we can create together.
The funds raised through Empty Bowls will directly support TrueNorth’s food security programs, helping ensure families throughout our region have access to nutritious meals and the support they need to thrive. Because of you, cupboards will be fuller, burdens will be lighter and hearts will be warmer.
At TrueNorth, we believe that when a community comes together, Good Happens Here. This year’s Empty Bowls is proof that compassion can turn something as simple as soup and clay into lasting change. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, created and attended.
