Halloween is a favorite holiday of kids all over the country, and Camp Newaygo knows how to make it fun at their annual Halloweekend festivities.
Halloweekend takes place Oct. 25 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, and Oct. 26 and 27 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at beautiful Camp Newaygo, located at 5333 Centerline Rd., Newaygo. Activities include; “not-too-spooky”cabin tours, Halloween crafts, scarecrow making, homemade donuts, face painting, a petting zoo, a genuine cider press, trolley rides, a straw maze for kids 6 and under, and much more!
Family-friendly means affordable, and Halloweekend is only $4 per person or $15 for family of 4, which includes just about everything including your choice of a family pumpkin or family scarecrow. Extra pumpkins can be purchased for $4 each. Volunteers are needed to help decorate the “spooky cabins”; if your group is interested, please contact Camp Newaygo before Oct. 23. Contact Christa Smalligan at (231) 652-1184 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for questions and group reservation information.
