The annual TrueNorth Coats for Kids (& Adults) coat drive is underway, and runs through October 21. You can help Newaygo County children and adults in need stay warm this winter. Please drop off your donation of new or gently used coats or jackets (in good, clean condition) at any Coats for Kids drop box located throughout the county.
If you want to help but don’t have any coats to donate, you may make a tax-deductible donation to TrueNorth by mailing a check payable to “TrueNorth” with “Coats For Kids” on the memo line and they will shop for you. TrueNorth’s mailing address is PO Box 149, Fremont, MI 49412.
Last year, over 800 children and adults received warm winter coats through this program and it is projected that at least that many will be served this year. Any questions should be directed to Nettie Uplinger at TrueNorth, firstname.lastname@example.org You are also encouraged to visit www.truenorthservices.org for more information.
