You can help make a difference in a child’s life by bringing them life-enriching mentors through TrueNorth’s TrueMentors program. So spare the excuses and strike up your friends, co-workers and relatives to team with you at Bowlapalooza 2019.
This year, Bowlapalooza features a circus theme. So, get together your team of five bowlers to bowl, have a blast, and, most importantly, raise money that will go directly toward recruiting, enrolling and matching volunteers with children needing them most.
Bowlapalooza raises nearly a third of the annual budget for TrueNorth’s mentoring programs, including TrueMentors, TrueBlue Academy, and Parks in Focus.
To make it easy to participate, there are a variety of dates and times: April 25, 5 pm.-7 p.m.; April 26, 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.–10 p.m.; and April 27, 3 p.m.-5 p.m. The location is The Commons of Fremont, 5885 S. Warner Avenue in Fremont.
The event is all about kids. The more donations bowlers raise, the more children will benefit by having an adult mentor in their lives. Bowlapalooza is the single largest annual fundraiser for TrueMentors. There are great prizes and fundraising incentives as well. Each bowler is asked to raise a minimum of $40, at which point they earn two games of bowling with shoe rental and an awesome, newly-designed 2019 Bowlapalooza t-shirt, thanks to the event’s King Pin Sponsor: ParVox Technology. For every additional $40 raised, participants receive a raffle ticket to win great door prizes throughout each event, and everyone who raises at least $75 will be entered into a drawing for a $250 Meijer gift card.
The top fundraisers for each session will be crowned Bowlapalooza king or queen. The top overall fundraiser will win the grand prize, a 50” smart TV. Grand prize will be awarded to the participant with the most donations collected and turned in at the time of bowl.
Registration is now open, with online fundraising capabilities available.

TrueMentors is vital because sometimes, all a kid needs is one more caring adult in their life to make a lasting positive difference.
