FREMONT, Michigan –  A group of Nestlé Nutrition Gerber Products employees has donated homeless kits to TrueNorth Community Services.

The group raised money and purchased items for the 25 kits, which they assembled for homeless people in Newaygo County before dropping them off Thursday, December 19. They made the donation for the second year instead of having a Christmas gift exchange, said Diana Hanna, Housing & Family Services Director at TrueNorth.

The kits include a carrying bag with personal hygiene products and items, emergency and fleece blankets, a pillow, a bath towel, a wash cloth, gloves, socks, hand warmers, a hat, lip balm, tissues, a flashlight, a snack and a $10 Walmart gift card.
