To that end, CNH will be offering a series of two-hour informative meetings to educate potential homebuyers on the program. The dates and times are as follows; Tuesday, February 5 at 5:30 PM, Saturday, February 21 at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 7 at 10 AM, or Tuesday, March 10 at 5:30 PM.

They will teach you everything you need to know to be a homeowner and how to do it right, such as; how to avoid predatory lending; how to set and keep a household budget; how to figure out how much house you can realistically afford; and even how to save money yearly by doing basic home maintenance and repairs yourself.

CNH has over $500,000 available to assist homebuyers wishing to purchase within the city limits of Fremont, Grant, or Newaygo. Each buyer could be eligible for up to $37,000 in assistance for down payment, closing costs, and repairs to the home. A family of four can earn up to $42,250 in gross yearly income. For other income guidelines for families of other sizes, or for other questions, please contact the CNH at TrueNorth at (231) 924-0641 to inquire further.
