A night of fun and intrigue await at Camp Newaygo's annual Murder Mystery Dinner on January 24 beginning at 6:30 PM. Cinderella has mysteriously disappeared, and while Prince Charming is looking for a new bride at the ball, a killing occurs and it is up to you to unmask the culprit. In a kingdom where jealousy, betrayal and deception are common storylines, it will be up to you to find the felon so that everyone can live happily ever after.
This event is highly interactive, and you play as big a part as you’d like; choosing between a primary role, secondary role, or a very minimal role, which will be assigned to you after you register. Dress the part and play your role throughout the evening as the group tries to figure out “who dunnit.” Cost is only $28 per person and includes dinner. You’ll be treated like royalty with a grand buffet featuring Oriental salad topped with Chow Mein noodles, chicken kabobs with roasted green peppers and mushrooms, twice baked potatoes, and mixed vegetables in cream sauce, and for dessert; a chocolate silk pie worthy of any king or queen. There will also be a DJ and dancing after the mystery is solved
Once Upon a Murder is provided by Night of Mystery Inc. (www.nightofmystery.com) and will take place at Camp Newaygo, located at 5333 Centerline Rd., in Newaygo. Call (231) 652-1184 or e-mail Christa Smalligan at firstname.lastname@example.org today to reserve your spots, as attendance is by reservation only.
