TrueNorth Community Services' more than 80 programs and services succeed because they are the collaborative work of concerned people creating effective solutions to meet needs in their own communities. Community needs cannot be addressed without the efforts of an active, growing, and incredibly caring volunteer base.
In 2017, 1,006 individuals and groups volunteered 30,790 hours for various TrueNorth programs and services. So much of our work wouldn't be possible without the dedication and commitment of volunteers in our communities.
If you are interested in volunteering at TrueNorth Community Services, including with the TrueNorth Food Pantry, Circles Newaygo County, TrueMentors, our out of school time programs (Project FOCUS, Engage! and REACH) and/or special projects and events; the Center for Nonprofit Housing, and/or Camp Newaygo, please fill out a Volunteer Application.
Groups may also volunteer for TrueNorth programs. Please fill out a Group Volunteer Application if interested.
You can also see a list of TrueNorth and other volunteer opportunities here! The website of the Volunteer Resource Center of Newaygo County, which is a TrueNorth community service, lists volunteer opportunities throughout Newaygo County.
