Each year, TrueNorth Community Services relies on extraordinary individuals and groups to fulfill our mission. There are so many different ways to volunteer at TrueNorth from knitting hats to mentoring a child. View our Volunteer Opportunities today!
We work tirelessly addressing rural poverty, ensuring our youth thrive, building vibrant communities and providing innovative rural nonprofit leadership. But to continue our vital work, we need your monetary support. Your gift is a powerful investment in hope. For more information on ways to give, click here.
In addition to monetary gifts, gift-in-kind donations help support TrueNorth and aides those we serve. Non-perishable food or personal care items are welcome. If you wish to donate such items to TrueNorth, please call us in advance so that we may make any necessary arrangements. Additionally, many businesses support TrueNorth through gift-in-kind donations to specific fundraising events. By providing merchandise or services, businesses publicly show their care and concern for the communities in which they do business while also increasing awareness of their brand, product or service.
Organize/Participate in a Food Drive
Food drives help the TrueNorth Food Pantry serve the more than 600 households each and every month who come to us in need. Food drives can be sponsored by individuals, corporations, clubs, schools and associations. To speak with someone about your drive, please contact Mike Voyt, Food Program Coordinator at (231) 924-0641, ext. 119 or email@example.com
Matching gift programs are a wonderful way for employees to stretch their charitable dollars at no cost to themselves. Simply ask your company’s human resource office, personnel department or community relations office if your company has a matching gift program. If so, ask for a matching gift form.
