Ensuring Youth Thrive
TrueNorth believes that providing nuturing opportunities for youth to develop and reach their potential is the smartest investment we can make for our future. Through youth leadership development, family engagement, enhanced social/education outcomes, and support of positive developmental assets, we enable our youth to reach their full potential.

We help ensure that youth thrive by building tomorrow’s leaders and philanthropists across our programs and services.

Through Circles Newaygo County, Camp Newaygo and other programs and services, we are building strong family bonds.

Our TrueMentors program, which also includes the TrueBlue Academy in Newaygo and Parks in Focus, provides mentoring needed by many of our young people.

Enhancing a young person’s cultural experiences are essential to develop creative problem solvers and we bring cultural enrichment to them through our music and visual arts programs.

Before and after school, and during the summer are critical times to reach our children and we do so through our out-of-school time programs primarily for elementary and middle schools: Project FOCUS, Engage! and R.E.A.C.H.

We provide special offerings like the S.T.E.A.M. Challenge and Mad Skillz designed for kids to learn real-world skills focused on academic enrichment that embraces science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics (with the acronynm STEAM) while having a blast!
