NEWAYGO COUNTY, MI – The annual TrueNorth Coats for Kids (& Adults) coat drive is under way, and runs through Nov. 3.

You can help Newaygo County children and adults in need stay warm this winter. Please drop off your donation of new or gently used coats or jackets (in good, clean condition) at any Coats for Kids (& Adults) drop box located at sites across Newaygo County.

If you want to help but don’t have any coats to donate, you may make a tax-deductible donation to TrueNorth by mailing a check payable to: TrueNorth with Coats For Kids on the memo line and they will shop for you. TrueNorth’s mailing address is P.O. Box 149, Fremont, MI 49412.

Last year, more than 360 children and adults received winter coats through the program, and it is projected that at least that many will be served this year. Any questions should be directed to Phil Gabel at TrueNorth, pgabel@truenorthservices.org or (231) 924-0641, ext. 119. You may also visit online for more information.
